The Babynest School have donated medical supplies and a cash amount of GH₵5,000 to the Princess Marie Louis Children’s Hospital to support healthcare delivery for children.
The donation was made during a visit by pupils and management of the school to the facility, where they also spent time interacting with young patients. The gesture formed part of the school’s efforts to instill values of care, empathy and social responsibility in its students.

Speaking during the presentation, Brand Ambassador of the Babynest Schools, Rosemary Labby said the school remains committed to supporting the well-being of children beyond academics.
“We’re honoured to be part of this. We continue to support, train and give children the best education that we can. Beyond that, it is also about teaching them how to give and care for society,” she stated.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Mame Yaa A. Nyarko, expressed appreciation to Babynest Schools for the support. She noted that the hospital, which is approaching its 100-year milestone, is in need of infrastructure upgrades to improve conditions for patients.

“We want to encourage individuals, corporate bodies and institutions to come on board to help refurbish our facility and make it more child-friendly and safe for all who come here,” she said.
The visit also brought moments of joy to children on admission, as Babynest pupils shared gifts and spent time with them.

Both the school and the hospital indicated their willingness to strengthen collaboration, as the hospital continues to appeal for support to upgrade its facilities and enhance pediatric care.
