Making the remarks

Speaking at the inauguration of the newly elected executives of the Professional and Management Staff Union of the bank, Dr. Zakaria emphasized that prioritising staff welfare, growth, and development is central to NIB’s strategy for achieving service excellence and long-term sustainability.

“The biggest asset in every organisation is the human being. I have by the grace of God, been able to run successful businesses for the last two decades. And if you want your business to succeed, do not joke with the human capital,” he said.

The Need For Transparency

According to him, one way they will support you is for you to be honest and transparent and when they see the balance sheet, they will be in a better position to be able to support you or otherwise.
